  4. Developing a more streamlined cultivation process

Israel’s technological leadership in cannabis has spawned a range of leading-edge, market-ready products.

Education And Impact

The understanding of every aspect of cannabis is crucial for proper production and consumption. The information must not be limited to the professionals alone, but the general public as well.
The process is as follows:

• Research
• Educating patients
• Influence public opinion
• Issue of prescriptions

The 2016 government reforms in medical marijuana licensing generated much excitement in the business community and over 200 applications were filed to join Israel’s eight cannabis farms.

The Israeli government is on a mission to regulate medical marijuana and make it more accessible and available by prescription at pharmacies. “Cannabis should be considered, so far as possible, in the same manner as any other medicinal product, requiring supervision and regulation in order to protect public health and welfare, even when taking into account its special characteristics – being a plant rather than a product, manufactured in a laboratory or factory,” (Health Ministry’s Medical Cannabis Unit).

The medical cannabis industry is on a mission to educate consumers on the benefits of medical cannabis and make an impact on the medical world and general public.
